Harlem Roasters was founded in the heart of one of New York's most iconic neighborhoods — where brownstone architecture, jazz melodies drifting from open windows, and the smell of fresh coffee have defined morning rituals for generations. We believe coffee is more than a beverage. It's a bridge between culture, community, and craft.
Every bean we source tells a story. Our small-batch roasting process honors both the farmer and the cup — tracing single-origin coffees from equatorial farms to Harlem storefronts. Our roasting philosophy is simple: let the terroir speak, trust the process, and never rush greatness.

A third-generation Harlemite, Marcus spent 15 years in specialty coffee before returning home to build something that reflected his neighborhood. His palate is legendary — trained in Addis Ababa, Bogotá, and Taipei, he brings a global mastery to a deeply local vision.
